This piece is about the constant gun violence in America. The simple fact is a trigger is being pulled. Some say “Self control, not gun control” but how can we individually control each other? We can’t. Our government doesn’t have the power to control the individual. Only the instruments the individual uses.

How do the generations to come feel? Our actions effect them more than they affect us. Will the world we create for them be filled with bias, injustice and violence? We must adopt a new way of thinking and protect the minds and bodies of our nation’s children.
